Recently, an inauguration ceremony was held for Phase I of the Zanzibar Court Project, constructed by China Railway Construction Engineering Group East Africa Company, marking the official commissioning of the court. Zanzibar President Hussein Ali Mwinyi attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
President Mwinyi congratulated the completion of the court and highly commended the East Africa Company for its efficient execution and high-quality construction during the project. He stated that once in operation, the project would significantly improve judicial efficiency, provide more convenient and effective legal services to the public, and further promote social fairness and justice.
Phase I of the Zanzibar Court Project was invested and developed by the Zanzibar Ministry of Justice. It includes the construction of four distinct court office buildings in Mazizini, Kisakasaka, Tunguu, and Pale, with a total floor area of approximately 12,000 square meters. The project covers court office buildings, power distribution rooms, gatehouses, as well as complete interior decoration and related outdoor supporting works.
